NPC NATURAL DRUG TESTING POLICY
The NPC Oregon Natural is a Drug-Tested National Qualifier. A minimum of 50% of athletes will be selected for polygraph testing, to be scheduled either prior to check-in via email or notified during check-in.
The following substances are prohibited for the listed time frame before entering an NPC/IFBB PRO Natural contest
1. ANABOLIC AGENTS 3 YEARS
Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (Exogenous, Endogenous when administered exogenously), and other Anabolic Agents (e.g. Clenbuterol, Tibolone, Zeranol, Zilpaterol)
2. HORMONE AND METABOLIC MODULATORS 3 YEARS
3. INSULIN 3 YEARS
When used for the purpose of bodybuilding (prescribed insulin is permitted)
4. PEPTIDE HORMONES, GROWTH FACTORS,RELATED SUBSTANCES, AND MIMETICS 3 YEARS
Including but not limited to EPO, Peptide Hormones and Hormone Modulators, Growth Hormone, Growth Factors and Growth Factor Modulators
5. SARMs (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators) 3 YEARS
Including but not limited to Andarine, LGD-4033, Ostarine, RAD140
6. THYROID HORMONES 3 YEARS
When used for bodybuilding purposes including but not limited to: Synthroid, T3, T4 (prescribed thyroid hormones are permitted)
7. BETA-2 AGONISTS 6 MONTHS
8. DIURETICS AND MASKING AGENTS 6 MONTHS
9. INSULIN MANIPULATORS 6 MONTHS
When used solely for weight loss (e.g. Wegovy, Ozempic, Metformin, Rybelsus, etc.)
10. STIMULANTS 6 MONTHS
11. INTOXICATING SUBSTANCES 12 hours before polygraph
Cannabis, Alcohol, Narcotics
12. MUSCLE IMPLANTS OR INJECTIONS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING SYNTHOL
Polygraph results are final! Note: The testing will begin at the check-in and all competitors must be available for testing. Any athlete who does not check-in and make themselves available for drug testing will be automatically disqualified. Any athlete who refuses testing or leaves before testing is completed will be automatically disqualified.
Under no circumstances will refunds be given for entries, tickets or other event related expenses if an athlete is disqualified.
First Failure One year suspension from ALL NPC, NPC Worldwide and IFBB PRO contests.
Second Failure Two years suspension from ALL NPC, NPC Worldwide and IFBB PRO contests.
Third Failure Lifetime suspension from ALL NPC, NPC Worldwide and IFBB PRO contests.
